Electronic Access Control Computer-controlled proximity systems provide both security and convenience. These systems can utilize a variety of entry devices including, radio key tags (large & small) and key cards - in addition to conventional numeric keypads. This type system is controlled by an on-site computer with access rights granted by user, day, date, time, areas accessible, etc. Updates can be accomodated and reports generated by the acess control software. Entry is acknowledged by simply presenting the access card or tag to the proximity reader...contact is not necessary. This system can be integrated into conventional security systems to accomodate special needs if required. All normal means of securing doors, gates, etc. can be controlled by this type system. Magnetic locking devices, electronic door strikes and various types of gate operator systems may all be controlled by today's modern proximity-reader controlled access systems. Keypads are available in a variety of styles and materials including, water resistant models for outdoor mounting. Keypads may be either "stand-alone" type or, integrated with compatible intercoms to provide an extra measure of safety and convenience.
